Egisto Solicitors is a well respected legal practice in the Inner Western suburbs of Sydney that has operated for 40 years. It is one of the largest firms between Sydney and Parramatta.

Originally established by Mr. Egisto in 1979, the firm has expanded to include a team of dedicated lawyers, secretaries and clerks who provide a high level of legal services and litigation skills.

John Chidiac holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Technology, Sydney. He graduated in 1997 and was admitted to legal practice in 1998. He began his legal career in insurance litigation for various insurance companies such as AMP, GIO, NRMA and Mercantile Mutual Limited.

 

John is experienced in a range of complex insurance litigation including workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, work injury damages, and public liability claims.

 

After he established Sanford Legal, John went on to develop the firm’s base in insurance litigation. John now uses the knowledge he gained in insurance company representation to act on behalf of injured people and help them win the maximum amount of compensation. He is a highly respected insurance litigator.  John has worked on many complex compensation cases that have progressed through the Supreme Court and High Court of Australia and have become precedent law.

 

John also has a particular interest in superannuation claims including total and permanent disablement and income protection claims against industry superannuation funds such as Australian Super, AMP, CBUS and REST. John has also been successful in advising clients against numerous defective building works against developers and builders that result under contract and tort.

 

John has conducted complex litigation before courts at all levels in Australia including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, High Court and various tribunals.

 

John also speaks fluent Arabic.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Business/Laws degree from the University of Technology, Sydney, and was admitted to legal practice in 2000. A valued partner, Jason has practiced extensively in the area of Insurance litigation, including Motor accident claims, Workers compensation claims, Medical negligence and Public liability claims.

 

He also has a particular interest and has substantial experience in Commercial and Property transactions and litigation.

 

Jason has acted in many estate and complex probate matters resulting in extensive experience litigating will challenges on behalf of both the claimant and the estate.

 

Jason acts for a variety of clients from individuals to large corporations that include several property developers, commercial landlords, debt collectors and transport companies.

Daniela was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of NSW in 1998 and subsequently the High Court of Australia.

 

Daniela commenced her career at the Crown Solicitor's office where she worked for Government bodies like the Department of Corrective Services, the Department of Education, the NSW Police Service and the Roads and Traffic Authority.

 

Subsequently, she worked in private practice at Liverpool where she had a range of files which included public liability, probate, criminal, family law, defective products and defective buildings matters.

 

In 2001, she joined Dibbs Abbott Stillman Lawyers (aka Dibbs Barker Gosling and Dibbs Barker) where she represented a number of licensed insurers including Allianz, CIC, FAI, CGU and other self-insured client's like State Rail. Her focus was on litigated matters with complex medical and liability issues. She enjoyed the challenge of dealing with multiple defendants and dual insurance issues. Working in conjunction with the commercial group, she advised corporate clients and insurers on policy wordings, director's liabilities and insurance coverage.

Daniela is a Notary Public.
